Yokmok directs and organizes routes in the Swiss, French and Italian Alps. We make the Alps accessible to everyone in the world.

Yokmok lets you discover the most secret corners of the Alps, those corners which the native villagers want to keep for themselves. We gather small groups of people with similar interests and likes, and we guide them through some of the best mountain routes of Europe. Along the way we will ensure your safety. You have only one objective – enjoy the splendor of the Alps!

The spirit and backbone of Yokmok is made up by two family members, Beatriz and Jorge – both filled with passion for the mountains, and because of this, they have decided to make this passion their way of life.

An adventure in the Alps is an experience less common. We are not the typical enterprise. 

Beatriz was born in Madrid, Spain, and she is co-founder of Yokmok. Her lively character, and enthusiasm, have accompanied her throughout Europe. She has spent long periods of time in Ireland, Sweden, and Italy.

Her love for animals, will help you get to know the Alpine fauna. Enthusiastic, and cheerful, Beatriz will make the clients of Yokmok feel at home in the Alps.

Beatriz is an apprentice Mountain Leader, also known as an Accompagnateur de Moyenne Montagne. Her training with the Spanish Mountaineering Federation will be completed in autumn 2008.

Jorge was born in Madrid, Spain, and he is co-founder of Yokmok. Jorge’s passion for the mountains and nature started when he was studying engineering, and since then this passion has increased. Due to this passion he lived in Sweden for three years, and afterwards he moved to Switzerland, where he has been living for the last eight years. His knowledge of Spanish, English, French and Swede make him a true Jack-of-all-trades.

His curiosity has led him to explore broad zones of the Alps, and because of this, he has chosen the best routes for Yokmok.  His respect, and good relationship that he maintains with the local people, have permitted Jorge to study in depth the way of life and the mentality of the region. Something that he is eager to share with the clients of Yokmok.

Jorge is a Mountain Leader and an active member of the Swiss Alpine Club.
