Ready to live 15 days in the Annapurna?

Just for the sights and the experience of hiking in the Himalayas, it is already a magical adventure trip. However, these 15 days have a dream itinerary. Do you want to discover it with us?

We start in Kathmandu, a thriving city, where you will be enchanted by the beauty of its monuments and the warmth of its people. Hinduism and Buddhism go hand in hand. There are unrepeatable places like Bodnath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath…

Then we travel to Pokhara, where we will take a car to Phedi and from there we start the trek to Dhampus. To open the mouth, are 1,700 meters of altitude and where we will know firsthand how the Brahmans, Chhetris, and a few Gurungs live. Things start to get interesting.

It is getting better day by day. The third day we ascend by the ridge of the hill, and the views of the mountains improve with every stride we give. We passed the village of Pothana and arrived at Deorali. The trip to Nepal is growing.

As we like to do things well, acclimatization to the height is progressive. On the fourth day, we reached the 2,100 meters of Chhomrong. Nothing to do with the 2850 meters of Hotel Himalaya, a landmark that we reached on day 5.

The thing gets more serious and attractive from the sixth day. We entered the sanctuary of the Annapurna. The views of the Annapurna I, II, III and IV, and the Machhapuchhare are those that you will remember throughout life. The trail takes us to the base camp of Machhapuchhare, at almost 4,000 meters of altitude.

Moreover, on the seventh day, we do not rest, no. This is the best moment of the trek. We reach the highest point of this trip to Nepal or, in other words, we arrive at the base camp of the Annapurna at more than 4,100 meters of altitude. In such a place, what one wants is to sit quietly and admire this spectacle of nature, and that is precisely what we do. We walk a couple of hours, and then we have the rest of the day to let our imagination run.

From the eighth day and with the sensations of having seen a unique place in the world, everything is bread and butter. The ninth day more feelings similar to the arrival in Chhomrong. In two days we have returned to the 2,100 meters of altitude.

After ten days of trekking, our trail diverts to the west, and we walk through dense forests of rhododendrons until we reach Banthanti. We go back over 3,000 meters on the eleventh day to Deorali and reach the cultivated fields of Ghorepani.

As you can see, it is a memorable trip to Nepal, with walks of up to six hours and views that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. 15 days at Annapurna are unforgettable.
