The White Lake in the French Alps

These months have been very intense in the French Alps. We have had many groups that have relied on us to guide them through these magical landscapes. We believe that they have had such an amazing time and will never forget  these vacations and the experiences that these adventure trips offer.

One of the places where you are often overwhelmed by Alpine beauty is the famous White Lake. It is a very beautiful image with the massif of the Mont Blanc right in front of you and that therefore is reflected in the water which acts as a mirror. A stunning vision for any adventurer.

Many of the best pictures of Mont Blanc are taken from this lake, so we usually include it in many of our adventure trips to the French Alps. For example, in “All Chamonix”, the “Mont Blanc Express Tour” or the “Mont Blanc Massif”.

For our walks to the White Lake we usually get up early, because the beauty and popularity of the place make many hikers want to go up to see it.

But on some of our hiking trips to the French Alps we are fortunate to spend the night in the shelter of the White Lake, so we can enjoy the stunning lights that gives us sunrise and sunset. At this time there is no one but the mountain. The experience is unforgettable.

Besides, in the shelter of the white lake they serve lavish breakfasts. Do not forget to try the cranberry cakes, they are delicious and also give such energy that the slopes become much more bearable.

The White Lake in the French Alps is undoubtedly a magical place.
