It’s here Friday afternoon, one of the most desirable times of the week. You are certainly looking forward to escape to a mountain this weekend. To celebrate today we bring you a video of our expedition star fall, trek to Everest Base Camp.

This beautiful sunset we owe the Estonian Tanel Toomsalu, who shows us the Everest from the highest point of our hiking trip to Nepal.

Our trek to Everest Base Camp elapses from the route followed by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary during the first ascent to the roof of the world in 1953. From where this video is recorded in Kala Pattar, we reached the 5,545 meters. As you can see, the views of Everest are simply spectacular.

Meanwhile, enjoy this beautiful sunset on Everest from Kala Pattar! You’ll have a happy weekend!
