How do I arrive to Geneva?
Geneva has excellent aerial connections throughout Europe. There exist a multitude of low cost airlines that fly daily to Geneva. There are many websites devoted to online travel, and a little shopping around often turns up a much more affordable price. If you're flying from the US, you will need to leave a day early for arrival the next morning in Geneva. For your return flight, plan to depart Geneva the day after your tour ends, to allow for travel time to the airport. To see our recommedations, click here.
I did a hiking tour with you last summer, will I get a special price if I return with you this year?

Yokmok offers routes of different levels of physical difficulty. Please read the level of difficulty described in each route. Yokmok is always willing to help and advise about the route that best suits every person.
Do you offer special group prices?
Yes we do. If you are between 6 and 8 persons, we offer each participant a 5% discount. Double that discount if your group is composed of more than 8 persons.
Must I be insured against accidents?
Yokmok provides all participants with a mountain rescue insurance. A medical insurance is the responsability of the participant as well as an insurance in case the participant has to return to its place of origin before the adventure ends.
How are the refuges in the Alps?
The quality and comfort of the alpine refuges have grown considerably in the last few years. Located in impressive places, the welcome is always warm. In addition, great mountaineering spirit exists and a great fraternity. Having said that, refuges are not hotels - baths are communal and one spends the night in dormitories.
Did you know that ...?
In the Alps, the temperature drops 1 degree Celsius for every 100 meters climbed. This means that, on a summer day, if the temperature at sea level is 30 degrees, at 2500 meters it will only be 5 degrees. And if there is a slight breeze, it can drop down to 0 degrees.
