Chamonix to Zermatt, Mont Blanc to Matterhorn. The High Route, or Haute Route joins the two greatest mountaineering centers in the world - Chamonix and Zermatt - one overshadowed by the highest massif in Western Europe, and the other by the most famous, and probably the most elegant, of all alpine mountains. The truth is that Chamonix to Zermatt is the recipe for a visual feast.
