What is a private departure?

A private departure is a specially arranged YokmoK Adventures trip that's just for you and your group. You can set up a private departure for most of the trips we offer.

FREE places for groups or clubs

If you can fill 10 places, we will give you the 11th place free! You can share this across the group as a discount, use it as a prize to raise funds, or as a reward for being the group organizer.

Who should consider private departures?

You can set up a private departure for any group or occasion. Here's a list of some the most popular types of private departures:

Are private departures available for small families or groups?

Yes – on most trips. If you see a trip you'd love to take but find that our published departure dates won't work with your schedule, consider a private departure; many of the trips can be run with just a few people. Our staff can provide details.

Can I book a trip for my group on dates that aren't listed in your catalog or online?

Yes. In fact, we prefer to run private departures on dates other than those advertised in our catalog and online.

Is the cost of private trips the same as your regular trips?

It depends on the size of your group. There is a surcharge if your group has less than the minimum number of participants for that trip.

Are the itineraries for private trips the same as regular YokmoK Adventures trips?

Yes, unless you tell us otherwise. You won't miss a thing!
