Ascent of Mont Blanc with skis
This is an adventure worthy to tell to your grandsons someday. The ascent of the Mont Blanc in winter is something that is not done every day, and without a doubt, it is an experience to be proud of oneself. The Mont Blanc massif dominates the valley of Chamonix. From the valley, the top of Mont Blanc appears imposing and challenging. Innumerable glaciers descend down the slopes of the Mont Blanc. But watch out, this adventure is reserved to expert skiers with a very good physical condition. In order to enjoy the 3,000 meters of downhill, you must control perfectly the short turns and regulate your speed easily in slopes of 45 degrees. The panoramic views from the top of the Mont Blanc are something really extraordinary. You will discover the wild silence of the eternal alpine glaciers. |

Note 1: before the ascent, one day preparation is needed for those not having experience using crampons. Note 2: one guide takes a maximum of two persons. |

Day 1
We take the Bellevue cable car up to 1900 meters, and from there we ski up to the Tête Rousse hut (3170m). Day 2 From Tête Rousse we climb up Goûter hut (3800m). Day 3 We reach the Mont Blanc summit (4808m). The downhill is usually done through Grands and Petits Plateaux, but the mountain guide might change the itinerary depending on the snow conditions. |
